Welcome to our Keith Haring ‘UNTITLED’ Show

Just as many of Keith’s works are untitled, we decided to let his art speak for itself.

Each work has become an Icon of the 80’s. While we have fond memories of the exciting New York art scene in those days, there was a darker side that ultimately took the life of the artist.

While Keith’s art is full of Barking Dogs, Radiant Babies, Angels and Smiling Faces, there is also a side that expressed his mortality.

In the 1980’s AIDS was a death sentence - pure and simple.

Unlimited in his talent but limited by his time, Keith Haring created some of his most powerful and personal art while friends like Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat and Rupert Jasen Smith - and his friends and lovers - were dying around him.

On February 16, 1990 the all too brief career of Keith Haring came to an end.

Like the perfect brushstrokes of his paintings, Keith had everything in place for us to enjoy just a bit more of the comforting style of his art.

He ultimately gave us the Icons - the final estate stamped works created for the world and kept in waiting so we wouldn’t forget him.

We decided to focus on this more personal flamboyant and overlooked side of Keith Haring - who began his life in a  little horse and buggy farming town in Pennsylvania and passed away an icon of the art world.
