BAMBI has been on the London street art scene for nearly ten years.   In all that time this anonymous artist has not had any direct involvement in curating a show in any gallery anywhere until now at Joseph Fine Art, London. This exhibition shows her work evolve from test proofs to commercial works.

Bambi has become known for her commentary on relevant topics. Her work has evolved over the past ten years, moving away from celebrity portraiture and finding her voice, bringing with it an increase in interest from around the world.. In this exhibition you can see first hand how she progresses from the test proof through to the final commercial adaptation of her works.   We’ve even put together an interesting display of how the Polar Bear went from a centuries old door in Venice to being part of a cutting edge campaign for ABSOLUT. Viewing these works will give you a small insight into the studio workings of this very private artist. You will see the  rough detail of actual street works that only BAMBI can create with her feminine touch of the spray paint can and the succinct words that have become as much a part of the art as the image itself.

We are also excited to announce in partnership with the artist that as well as exhibiting a hand picked selection of unique studio proofs, original unique works not seen before we will also be offering a sneak preview of the new ’Stop and Smell the Roses’ limited edition print to benefit Cancer Research UK, the release will take place on Monday June 25th.
