Loch Gallery is delighted to present a special collection of paintings by William Kurelek (1927 – 1977) to be featured online and in our Toronto and Calgary galleries until June 19th.

In an artistic career of just over 25 years, Kurelek consistently made paintings informed by his own lived experience, entwining his faith, life, and view of Canada. The power and enduring appeal of his work is a deft balance between recognizable imagery, an open invitation into a narrative, and insight to our shared humanity.
