Critically-acclaimed Canadian photographer and artist, Raphael Mazzucco will be exhibiting his captivating artworks in New York this October at Louis K. Meisel Gallery.

A celebrity favorite, Mazzucco has created iconic images for notable global brands throughout a 20-year photography career, including Calvin Klein, Guess Jeans, Victoria’s Secret, Playboy, Vogue, Intimissimi, L’Oreal and Ralph Lauren. His photographs have held the coveted main cover position of three Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues in a four-year span, starting in 2006.

Mazzucco’s mixed media pieces are a layered narrative comprised of fashion photography, paint, collage and text. The striking imagery is most often inspired by the female form and vast landscapes, ranging from African wildlife, the Australian outback to Vietnamese rice paddies, amongst other exotic locations. Mazzucco has showcased these artworks across the globe; his works have been exhibited in London, Milan, Hong Kong, LA, Australia and Miami. 

An Odyssey is on view from October 5th until November 11th at Louis K. Meisel Gallery on Prince Street. An opening reception will be held on Thursday October 5th from 6-8PM.
