Maddox Gallery, one of the UK’s most successful new contemporary art galleries will make its debut at Art Miami this December.

Established in December 2015 and now with three thriving Central London galleries, Maddox Gallery will bring some of its most avant-garde and widely collected artists to Miami this December. The Maddox Gallery space at booth No. A228 at Art Miami includes new artwork from The Connor Brothers who will also be in attendance.

The Connor Brothers initially entered the art scene as American twins brought up within an extremist Christian cult known as 'The Family’, who escaped to Brooklyn where they began creating artwork in order to make sense of the world they had been deprived of. In October 2014 these characters were revealed as a myth and art dealers Mike Snelle and James Golding exposed themselves as The Connor Brothers. Their artwork has been sold alongside Banksy and Damien Hirst at Christie's and Bonham's, and they will debut previously unseen oil paintings at Art Miami.

New York based Bradley Theodore will also be exhibiting new artwork at Art Miami. Dubbed ‘The A list’s favourite artist’ by ES Magazine and ‘Banksy meets Basquiat’ by Vogue’s influential Suzy Menkes, Bradley Theodore’s vibrant Dia de los Muertos skull paintings are now widely collected all over the world.

Standout LA based graffiti artist RETNA will be debuting new artwork at Art Miami from his successful solo show MARGRAVES at Maddox Gallery, Mayfair. The gallery will also debut a new and previously unseen artwork from Michael Moebius, whose famous bubblegum portraits of iconic pop culture figures have graced the covers of titles such as the Robb Report.

Also on show with Maddox Gallery in Miami will be the engrossing photography of David Yarrow, the world’s leading wildlife photographer. David Yarrow has built a world-class reputation for producing photographs of the planet’s most remote landscapes, cultures and endangered animals. His methods for enticing dangerous animals near enough to his lens for the best photograph include researching which animal is most attracted to which scent and then coating his camera in it as he lays in wait.

“David’s images have the power to engage and influence our appreciation and knowledge of some of the planet’s most extraordinary flora and fauna.” comments HRH The Duke of Cambridge, Royal Patron of Tusk Trust, who wrote the foreword to David Yarrow’s Rizzoli book last year.

Maddox Gallery is fast emerging as one of the most stylish young contemporary art destinations in the UK. 2017 has seen the gallery exhibit the phenomenally successful London exhibition from New York based artist Bradley Theodore and David Yarrow’s acclaimed solo exhibition The Untouchables. Last spring Maddox Gallery made global headlines when it exhibited ‘Make America Great Again’ the provocative Donald Trump nude by Ilma Gore. Censored by Facebook, it became the first truly viral artwork of the Instagram age and provoked political, social and creative debate across the globe. In under two years Maddox Gallery has opened three Central London locations, the first its flagship Mayfair destination, a beautiful 3750 square foot Victorian townhouse in Maddox Street, the second in the heart of Mayfair’s Shepherd Market and the third a recently opened 4000 square foot space in Westbourne Grove. Their roster of cutting edge international contemporary artists and photographers includes David Yarrow, Bradley Theodore, RETNA, The Connor Brothers, Dan Baldwin, Danny Minnick, Massimo Agostinelli, Chris Moon, Tyler Shields, Tony Kelly, Bran Symondson and Michael Moebius.
