In addition to exhibiting a selection of work by gallery artists and estates, we are also pleased to present William Pope.L's "Black Factory Tour 2009" on view at the Botanical Gardens as part of Art Projects Miami Beach, in collaboration with Galerie Catherine Bastide.

"The Black Factory" is Pope.L's renowned interactive mobile art performance installation which the artist has re-imagined specifically in response to the current American social climate. In this latest and most macabre iteration, the Factory is mired in a gigantic pile of glittering black effluvia, furthering the provocative conversation on "blackness" initiated by the original piece.

Mitchell-Innes & Nash will also feature the work of Jack Tworkov as an Art Kabinett in the Gallery's booth. This special exhibition will include Tworkov's "Barrier #5," an important painting from the period during which the artist was chairman of Yale University's art department.
