Richard Nagy has been dealing independently since 1980, with Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt as a speciality since 1984. He started the Dover Street Gallery in 1989. He also handles work of the German Expressionists, particularly of the Neue Sachlichkeit and artists of a related sensibility (Spencer, Bacon, and Freud). Less obviously related artists in stock are Symbolists (Redon, Khnopff) and works by the artists of the accepted canon of Modernism (Picasso, Matisse).
