R+V is pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition in our London gallery, Daniel Ambrosi. AI and the Landscapes of Capability Brown. Daniel Ambrosi is a California-based digital artist who over two decades has honed his unique style of landscape art, creating large-scale immersive pieces that seek to convey the splendour and magnificence of the natural world. This is Ambrosi's first solo show in the UK and we are pleased to be showing his works as our first natively digital artist.

Considered a founding member of the AI art movement, Ambrosi's method incorporates original photography, computer graphics and artificial intelligence, using cutting-edge technologies to reimagine timeless vistas, all forming part of his Dreamscapes project.

Ambrosi's art is deeply rooted in the long tradition of Western landscape painting, taking inspiration from European and American Old Masters and applying his artistic tools to many of the same timeless subjects and themes. In this exhibition, the artist revisits the iconic landscapes of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, the great 18th-century English landscapist. Brown’s creations, themselves inspired by popular landscape paintings of the time, are reinterpreted by Ambrosi's singular vision, emphasising the enduring wonder of these views in the 21st century.
