Born in Boston to artists Ruth Cobb and Lawrence Kupferman
Studied with and apprenticed to his father, Head of the Dept. of Painting at Mass. College of Art and with sculptor Mirko at Harvard. Attended the Univ. of Wisconsin and MERU, Switzerland.
