1968: Studied at the San Francisco Art Institute
1975: Received grant from Virgin Islands Council on the Arts/National
: Endowment for the Arts to photograph Danish architecture on St. Croix
1977 - 1979: Headed the board of Theatre Dance and organized the company’s first outdoor concerts
1980: Made Drifting on Melody Smoke: A Flower Opening to the Moon, nine portfolios of work done with Japanese contemporary dancers Eiko and Koma, began land sculptures on St. Croix
1981: Began aerial work, Fallen Jerusalem
1985 - 1988: Made book Jan Henle: Topographical Film Drawings
1991 - 1992: Made large scale land sculpture, La Jibarita
1999: Began work on land sculpture, Road to Nowhere. On-going project.
