On view there will be groups of works by Chagall, Kusama and Christo, as well as a rich array of Impressionist paintings by Renoir, Pissarro, Boudin, Lebasque and Loiseau. Among the highlights is a striking portrait by Juan Gris, a rare standing nude by Pierre Bonnard and a Pissarro multi-figure street scene.  A centrepiece of the stand is an important 1906 Fauve painting by Auguste Herbin.

Executed as part of a notable series, Maisons au Quai Vert, Bruges depicts the major Belgian landmark Quai Vert. Deploying a colourful palette, it is both a fine example of Herbin at the height of his Fauve period and a wonderful depiction of Bruges.
