Still set against an architectural background Chloe Early’s new work highlights the fantastical element of her painted landscapes. She is using more imagery layering motifs and references moving away from the lone figure to include a more dynamic collection of figures, couples and animal herds. Amidst the urban structures, carousel, playground and circus imagery combine to highlight leisure, motion and escapism. Early shows us a world deconstructed and put back together in an unsettling way. There is a sense of celebration , stars twinkle, bright lights flash. A dream continues.
