Turi Simeti (*1929, Sicily) has been internationally recognized for his monochrome pictorial reliefs with oval structures since his participation in “Zero Avantgarde 1965” at Lucio Fontana’s studio in Milan. The solo exhibition at Walter Storms Galerie shows recent works by the Milan-based artist, combined with a documentary classification of Simeti in the context of the European Concrete Art movement of the 60s/70s.
