Danish-born, LA-based graffiti artist Mikael B. paints in a colorful, expressive yet geometric style with surrealist influence and an eye for design. Mikael is perhaps the most popular contemporary artist in Denmark and is making his mark in the US now. The former founder of Danish design agency IDentity Provided, Mikael’s reverence for design is apparent in his body of work. An avid philanthropist, he founded the Mikael B. Foundation in 2017.

He is a highly sought-after collaborator, whose recent commissions include brands like as Nike, Google, American Express, Heineken, and LinkedIn. He has also collaborated with Porsche, TOPPS, EA Sports, and been commissioned for murals all over the world, including major hotel brands like The W Hotel and Lowes in Miami during Art Basel, 2019.
Taglialatella Galleries is excited to join Art Miami's much-anticipated 2022 chapter of CONTEXT, featuring a dedicated solo exhibition for artist Mikael B. Celebrating his newly unveiled mural at Wynwood Walls, Mikael B has created a highly curated, exclusive collection of paintings entitled The Evolution of Everything, while also being selected by CONTEXT to install site-specific design from his collection at the public entry for the fair.

Mikael B will also be releasing a new, limited-edition print and edition of hand-painted multiples, set to display for the first time at CONTEXT.
