Established in 1994, Tanya Bonakdar Gallery has maintained a consistent and rigorous program since its inception. In 1998, the gallery moved into its current location in New York’s Chelsea district. The gallery maintains an exhibition schedule of 10 to 12 shows per year.
Tanya Bonakdar Gallery has developed a renowned program of emerging and established artists. Several of the artists we exhibit and represent are among the leading figures of their generation, but it is equally important to the gallery’s mission that we introduce new work by lesser-known artists, promoting and supporting them as their careers develop. We also regularly participate and exhibit work at selected international art fairs, including the Armory Show in New York, Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, and Frieze London.
