Tanya Bonakdar Gallery is very pleased to participate in Frieze New York 2014. Located at booth C20, the gallery will present important new painting, sculpture, installation and works on paper by gallery artists including Uta Barth, Martin Boyce, Sandra Cinto, Mark Dion, Olafur Eliasson, Meschac Gaba, Carla Klein, Agnieszka Kurant, Charles Long, Mark Manders, Ernesto Neto, Rivane Neuenschwander, Analia Saban, Tomas Saraceno, Thomas Scheibitz, Haim Steinbach, Sarah Sze, and Michael Wilkinson.

Currently on view at the gallery is our first exhibition with Meschac Gaba. Titled Exchange Market, this is his first major gallery show in the States and features incredible new installation and sculpture, all very strong examples of his practice exploring global identities and systems of value. At once critical and lighthearted, this body of work bring together familiar and symbolic objects such as devalued currency, national flags and interactive table games in evocative displays of cultural hybridity, collaboration and new forms of exchange.
