Arrived in Canada from Syria

Went to work for his Uncle Nakash at his studio, leaving behind his original desire to study medicine; started an apprenticeship with John H. Garo of Boston.

Left Boston and opened his studio in Ottawa

Learned lighting at Ottawa Little Theatre, and photographed Winston Churchill.

Closed studio
1997
Retired to Boston, MA
2002
Died in Boston at age 93
