Description
Dante, Canto V'
On the ICU bed a few years ago, probably under the influence of painkillers, I had unusual dreams. I dreamed of making these long flights over places with unrecognizable shapes. Dreams full of pain in which I never reached a goal, and which always brought me close to the ground to start flying again! Thus, I felt transported and stuck in limbo for almost eternity.
After the recovery I tried to paint those mirages, but without success. I couldn't materialize anything. It was only six months ago, luckily for me, that I received the invitation for exhibition on Dantes 700 anniversary , and retracing his verses, as we did in middle school, I had the inspiration and strength to take my heroes to new destinations. Towards another stage for an infinite journey. But it was no longer a scary flight, thanks to Dante and his Canto V
