Description
Billy Apple undertook a second series of Xerox works during his residency in Idaho Falls in 1966. This was facilitated by Robert Nertney, a nuclear physicist who gave the artist access to another industrial prototype reproductive machine housed at the Atomic Energy Commission. This image of an apple core was sourced from a print advertisement for Mead Papers published in 1966. The magazine page where this ad was published is held in the Billy Apple® Archive.
