Description
The work is adding a deeper insight to Daniel Buren’s interest in the structure of space and the relation between the object and the viewer.
Nine squared mirrors are combined into a large square of 3 x 3 elements.
The overall dimension of the large square is repeated in form of a frame made of white vertical stripes and is turned in a 45° angle like a second layer on top of of the mirror surface. The frame is a reference to Daniel Buren’s interest and reflection on the medium of painting.
