The work of Klaus Kampert is focused on nude photography, trying to capture an emotion from the bodies of his models which far outstrips the simple physical dimension. To him the body is the casing of the soul: by working on the body language, he strives to capture both casing and soul, in each and every studio photograph.

With this series of black and white photographs the artist pursues his research of the feminine nude, all photographed within a circle of light in various positions. The name of the series 'Moonstruck' sums up the artist's idea : the softness of the light imparting shadowy effects and very delicate lighting, the restrictive and enveloping circular shape, the abandonment of the bodies which seem indifferent to the viewer's gaze… all come together to highlight the reverie that each of these images gives off.
