Description
From the moment Manu Algueró put pencil to paper, he understood that he was destined to become an artist. Born in Barcelona in 1976, he studied at the Mataro Academy of Art. He continued his studies in Graphic Design at IDEP, Barcelona, and Art & Fashion at San Martin, London. Manu knew that the best way to learn was to explore diverse cultures and interact with experts in his field. He loved sketching and exploring his passion, but he needed to find something that was unique. He desired to be part of the artistic world and wanted to stand out. Being just another painter wouldn't make him happy, and he continued to search for his true calling.
Manu works with many forms of art, all enveloped by the theme of explosive art. He creates paintings, sculptures, and dresses them all with the edgy and vibrant technique that he worked hard to develop. To create new paintings, he uses metallic paint and fireworks. After the explosion of paint on canvas, he adds the finishing touch, and until the last moment, Manu doesn't know what the result will be. Being part of this new movement in the art world has heightened his passion for storytelling through his pieces and sharing the uniqueness of his work. He expresses the origins of life and new beginnings with his art. He takes that memory of a building falling and transforms it into emotion, power, and unwavering inspiration for viewers of what he creates.
