Containing 80 elements that fit together in intricate and ingenious ways, GOLIATH is Berrocal’s most complicated torso. It is both a challenge and a pleasure to disassemble and reassemble the sculpture. It can be assembled in three slightly different variations: with a circumcised penis, an uncircumcised penis or a fig leaf (the two unused elements in each case are stored inside the sculpture). The assembly of Goliath requires numerous subassemblies, each of which is a mini-puzzle in itself.
