This photograph was made in collaboration with Guo Pei, a Chinese fashion designer whose golden dress adorns the female figure posing majestically centre stage. The two accompanying animals are yá zì [睚眦], legendary Chinese hybrid creatures in-between a wolf and a dragon endowed with fur and scales, representing power. The creatures were designed by special effects artist Christopher Antoniou. The image was photographed in Beihai Park, Beijing.
