Description
Condition: A: Mint
Framed in a brushed silver frame which measures 25" x 31" with a depth of 1" along with plexiglass and black matte. One of sixteen lithographs by Picasso from a portfolio titled "Mes Dessins D'Antibes" (My Antibes Drawings). This item titled Mes Dessins d'Antibes is a first edition lithograph, from an edition of 300. The sixteen (16) lithographic facsimiles were printed in black by Daniel Jacomet after drawings by Pablo Picasso that were created while Picasso was in Antibes in 1946. Heavy foxing on the entire sheet, needs restoration. About the Portfolio: The portfolio was published both in a French version in Paris and an American version in English in New York by Daniel Jacomet for the Galerie Chalette in 1958. The complete portfolio had two title leaves (one of them a lithographic facsimile of Picasso's manuscript in red), two leaves with text in English and French, a justification leaf and sixteen (16) lithographic facsimiles printed in black by Daniel Jacomet after drawings by Pablo Picasso. created at Antibes in 1946.
