This reproduction of Bearden's "School Bell Time", has been approved and numbered 842 out of 950 by the Bearden Foundation. The Bearden Foundation's seal is printed in the lower, right-hand margin. Condition: A-: Near Mint, very light signs of handling.
As an African-American artist and writer, Bearden's work focused on unity and cooperation within the African-American community. He worked in several media including cartoons, oils and collage.
