„Tony Cragg started the group of works that he generically refers to as Early Forms in the mid-1980s. These works were based on the principle of connecting two or more existing objects by creating a hybrid form. [...] The forms are derived from commercial plastic containers, a distinct reference to Cragg’s earlier interest in manufactured forms. these works are more spatially complicated than his previous ones.“
