Description
„There are several variations of Runner, both in size and material. this large wooden sculpture shows the characteristic "to and through" or flux of these works.
Cragg resolves the inherent contradiction of sculpture's attempt to depict movement in a static material by referring to the dynamics of internal tensions, potentials and processes of all materials, whether biological or geological. The disquieting flux and flow of these works echo thought and decision-making processes, expressing a state of mind or a mental picture.“
