Notes: Signed. A wonderful Spider Web by Vija Celmins, commissioned as part of Lincoln Center’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Ms. Celmins recently received an award from the International Print Center in New York for her outstanding artistic contribution in this field. Retrospectives of her work have traveled to the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Walker Art Center, and The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Her works are in the Permanent Collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art along with many other distinguished museums.
