ABC-ARTE presents a exhibition concept at Artefiera 2024 for the Main Section, where a synthesis of the gallery artists' poetics and an overview of upcoming or recently passed exhibitions will be offered to the public. The setup includes a large 45 square meter booth featuring artworks by Alan Bee, Tomas Rajlich, Nanni Valentini, Michele Zaza, and Jerry Zeniuk

Inside the booth, the focus will be on the works of Bee, Rajlich, and Zeniuk in a chronological journey through Fundamental Painting, spanning from the 1970s to the 2000s. These three artists come from different generations, backgrounds, cultural contexts, and individual instincts. They share no superficial similarities except for their use of color, which becomes more vibrant for each of them from the 1980s onward. All three artists demonstrate a keen awareness of the avant-garde discourse, especially in terms of what they do not want to be.

Welcoming visitors on the external sides of the booth will be the works of Michele Zaza and Nanni Valentini, united by the theme of the Face. For Zaza, the face is a space of revelation, where the signs of truth converge, emphasizing the primacy of identity and creative foundation. For Valentini, it represents a fundamental theme in his exploration of memory and its archetypal variations (Angel's Face, Selene's Face, Oedipus's Face, etc.).

The booth's walls themselves will be designed with specific colors and materials that interact with the artworks, becoming an integral part of the exhibition.
