RENATE ALLER
Born in Germany, Renate Aller lives and works in New York. She mainly concerns herself with multi media installations and photography. Aller has exhibited work and undertaken residencies in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Her long term project "Oceanscapes – One View – Ten Years" was a critic’s choice by Nord Wennerstrom for ArtForum, and was reviewed by Vince Aletti for The New Yorker, among numerous favorable reviews. The Oceanscapes series is comprised of large-scale seascapes taken from the same location on Westhampton Beach, but they range from minimalist studies to dramatic views of storm Clouds and glistening water. Pieces from Oceanscapes and other site specific art works are in the collections of corporate institutions, private collectors and museums, including The Yale University Art Gallery, the George Eastman House, Rochester, New York and Hamburger Kunsthalle, Hamburg, Germany,Chazen Museum of Art, University Gallery of Wisconsin,Madison, WI, New Britain Museum of American Art, CT, New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe, N.M. and Lannan Foundation, Santa Fe, NM.

CAROLYN MARKS BLACKWOOD
Situated in Rhinecliff, New York, photographer Carolyn Marks Blackwood reframes segments of nature’s various elements, air, ice, and water, from her surroundings along the Hudson River, into perspective bending abstract photographs with painterly expression. Just like her predecessors of The Hudson River School, the romantic landscape of the Hudson offers Blackwood a plethora of color and activity from the splendor of seasonal changes. Blackwood documents such ephemeral moments by creating ambiguous fragments of vivid color fields, geometric abstractions, and flattened motifs, capturing great detail within the elements that would otherwise remain unnoticed. Blackwood is a screenwriter, producer, and principal partner at Magnolia Mae Films. Among the films produced by Magnolia Mae are The Duchess, The Invisible Woman, and Philomena. Blackwood has been exhibiting her photography for over 10 years.

ROBERT LONGO
Robert Longo is one of the most important artists working today. Over his prestigious 30-year career, Longo has had retrospective exhibitions at the Hamburger Kunstverein and Deichtorhallen, the Menil Collection in Houston, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Hartford Athenaeum, The Isetan Museum of Art in Tokyo and Ashikaga City Museum. His work has been included in a myriad of group shows such as Documenta, The Whitney Biennal, and the Venice Bienale. The artist is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Guggenheim Museum, the High Museum in Atlanta, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Menil Collection in Houston, Musee d'art Contemporain in Montreal, The Whitney Museum of American Art, Walker Art Center, in Minneapolis, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and the Albertina in Vienna. Longo will continue to be one of the most highly regarded living contemporary artists and print makers working in the international art market.

MARTIN USBORNE
Martin’s key interest is man’s relationship to (other) animals. Although his imagery is sometimes dark – capturing the way in which we silence, control or distance ourselves from other animals – his pictures strive for a subtle humor. Martin often undertakes editorial or commercial commissions and his work is regularly featured in international magazines and has been seen in group and solo shows around the world as well as in the National Portrait Gallery London. He has had four books published. Martin lives and works in London. He studied philosophy and psychology and then 3D animation before finally settling on photography. He is currently spending a year to see how many animals he can save in 365 days.
