The gallery is happy to announce the opening of the exhibition Stephen Bron - Mistaken for a Songbird. This will be Bron’s 5th one person exhibition at the gallery.

Known as a true painter’s painter, Bron’s lyrical imagery and bold, intuitive use of paint create a mystical world of wonder taken from the observed natural world combined with a magical mixing of a nearly hallucinatory vision and love of material. The work intrigues from first observance, and continues to reveal more secrets and nuances over time. 

Stephen Bron lives and works in Brooklyn. He studied painting and printmaking, receiving his BFA from Cooper Union, attended Yale Norfolk Summer School, and received an MFA in Painting from NYU.
