Managing director and art historian Marcus Marschall founded the gallery in 1986. Since then the gallery has become a successful supplier to leading museums and collectors around the world. A lavish catalogue is produced annually providing a detailed overview of the gallery’s stock.
The spacious premises of Daxer & Marschall are located opposite from the Alte Pinakothek and the Neue Pinakothek in Munich’s famed museum quarter.
The gallery conducts research, produces publications, stages exhibitions, and buys and sells artworks.
