Galeria Nara Roesler | São Paulo presents Arthur Lescher: Asterismos, the most recent solo exhibition by the artist at the Nara Roesler Gallery. The exhibition proposes the continuity of his poetic investigations involving philosophical and scienti c debates, as well as his always re ned way of dealing with matter, forms and constructive procedures in dialogue with the architectural space and the public. For the occasion, Lescher starts from a re ection on the concept of “asterism”, pattern or set of stars that, visible in the sky from the terrestrial plane, composes geometric shapes or recognizable gures, but which is not recognized by the scienti c community, as are the constellations. This celestial space undecipherable by science is the basis for the artist to propose a situation in which the dialogue between his sculptures and the space that occupies and seeks to transform the white cube of the gallery into a cosmic space.
