From 20 November 2020 to 15 January 2021 Galerie Jacques Lacoste will present a Jean Royère (1902-1981) solo show: around 60 pieces will be on display, including design icons such as the Polar Bear armchair and the Liane sconces, a straw marquetry Flaque coffee table, a Persan floor lamp, a Chevrons set (sofa and chairs) and Hirondelle sconces.

This important exhibition will highlight the breadth of Jean Royère’s creative range, covering both furniture and lights.  Throughout his career, Jean Royère developed an unmatched style and soon became one of the greatest French designers of his time.  Today the wealth of his inspirations, as well as the elegance and sophistication of his designs, are still proving significant and up-to-date.
