ASPEN, COLORADO — On Monday, December 27, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Galerie Maximillian and the Aspen Art Museum will be hosting, by invitation only, a special preview of main event live auction items which will be auctioned off the following evening at its annual holiday après-ski benefit, Dennis Basso Freestyle. Freestyle is fashion as fine art—the après-ski fashion gala of the year and the winter party of the holiday season. Funds raised during the event support the Aspen Art Museum’s critically acclaimed contemporary art programming.
In conjunction with this event, the gallery will be exhibiting “Personnages: Important 20th Century Master Prints”, featuring Picasso, Miro, Matisse, Dubuffet, Bacon and William Kentridge, through January, 2011.
