Founded in 1991 in Paris by Daniel Goldmann, Galerie Omagh is a modern and contemporary art gallery located on 104 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, between Hotel Le Bristol and the Élysée Palace.
Galerie Omagh offers a personal selection of modern art, abstract art, conceptual art from France or by international artists having a strong connection to the country. For more than fifteen years Galerie Omagh has also aimed to present permanently works from the Nouveau Réalisme movement. A contemporary of American Pop Art, and which is often presented as the French version, Nouveau Réalisme embodies, with Fluxus, one of the many trends of the avant-garde of the 60s. This group of artists, some of whom are from Nice, such as Klein, Arman or César, mainly worked on movement, the destruction and rearrangement of objects and color.
Galerie Omagh aims to develop collections of both new collectors and informed ones, as it wishes to be a special place for dialogues between the different artists and movements of the Post-War avant-garde in France.
We are proud to have built many long-term relationships of trust built with collectors around the world. And we believe in the respect of fundamental values such as rigorous expertise and the demand for quality in the acquisition of collector's items.
Galerie Omagh is an expert approved by the European Chamber of Expert Advisors in Works of Art, and a member of the Association Nocturne Rive Droite.
