The Mucciaccia Gallery was founded in Rome in 2007 by the dynamic and resourceful art gallery manager Massimiliano Mucciaccia. After about six years of exhibitions and events, in December 2013, the gallery moved from the magnificent scenery in Piazza d'Ara Coeli to Largo della Fontanella Borghese, in Campo Marzio, a historical and commercial district in the center of Rome. The Mucciaccia Gallery has additional spaces in Cortina d'Ampezzo .
In 2012, the activity broadened with a new gallery in the area of Singapore’s Gillman Barracks; the space goes by the name Partners & Mucciaccia. There, artists, critics, collectors, and students can meet and give life to interesting projects and themes, stimulating observation and discourse.
Since its establishment, Massimiliano Mucciaccia has dedicated himself to the promotion of Modern and Contemporary Art in Italy and abroad, in collaboration with institutions and private foundations. The historical shows mounted during these years—which include retrospectives on Giorgio De Chirico, Robert Rauschenberg, Jacques Villeglé, and Georges Mathieu—are a testament to the focus on artists who have influenced and are still influencing new generations.
On the other side, the intent of the gallerist is to give space and importance to current artists, with a strong and successful position in the international market.
