Daniel Arutro Carrillo-Lozano is an Intaglio printmaker and antique process photographer specializing in Daguerreotypes and Wet Plate Collodion processes. Born in Mexico and raised in California, he moved to Seattle in 1997. His work has been exhibited at the Tacoma Art Museum, Western Washington Viking Union Gallery, Shenzhen China, Gage Academy, Skagit Valley College, Cabrillo College, and his work has been included in several juried exhibitions.
Daniel’s artwork is in the collection of the Tacoma Art Museum and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and the photography collection of Sir Elton John. Carrillo lives and works in Seattle.
