published the first issue of Bokubi, a publication devoted to sumi arts
1952
he started the Bokujin group, an association of calligraphic artists with whom he exhibited regularly
1953 - 1961
Morita lectured at Wakayama University
1954
his work was included in Japanese Calligraphy at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the same year in an exhibition of Japanese and American abstraction at the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo
