Fabrizio Plessi (*1940, Reggio nell'Emilia, Italy) is considered one of the founders of video sculpture. Since the 1960s, the Italian artist's innovative work has included elements of Arte Povera, installation and performance art. Digitality and reality, nature and technical materials come together in Fabrizio Plessi's works. With his sculptures, Plessi creates synergetic dissonances from digital evidence of natural forces, steel and natural materials. The Cristallo Liquido exhibition is dedicated to Plessi's work and presents an intimate look at his most important groups of works and their conceptual genesis.
