Lullin + Ferrari was founded in January 2008 by Corrado Ferrari and Etienne Lullin. Corrado Ferrari worked for many years in an established gallery in Zurich. Etienne Lullin worked in museums in Switzerland and abroad and was director at The Paragon Press in London. He has written about contemporary art in exhibition catalogues and magazines. Lullin + Ferrari is a gallery dedicated to international contemporary art. Through the experience and contacts of the two owners the gallery has a strong international network of artists, collectors, museum curators, directors of exhibition spaces and other gallery owners alike. The gallery operates from a spacious location in Zurich district 5, in close neighborhood to the Löwenbräu area, with museum institutions and other galleries. Lullin + Ferrari shows a demanding international exhibition program with five to seven shows annually. The gallery represents artistic positions, which reflect a historical consciousness and an art historical awareness. We focus on conceptual positions, which combine intellectual thoughtfulness with visual rigor. We established a balanced program, on the one hand representing well-known artists with a huge experience and an important reputation in the art world, on the other hand working with artists at the beginning of their career. Our aim is to introduce the work of the artists to important collectors and curators and to the general public. We are working in close relationship with independent curators and museum people, writers and critics alike to promote the work of our artists. We will participate annually in three to four art fairs to reveal the works of our artists to a wider public. Guided tours, talks with the artists and lectures, addressed to professionals, collectors and interested amateurs, complete our gallery program.
