Founded by Matteo Lampertico in 2007 in Milan, ML Fine Art specializes in Modern and Contemporary art, with a focus on distinctive, historically relevant works by Italian and European Modern artists. M&L Fine Art is an international platform for innovative perspectives on artists such as Carla Accardi, Agostino Bonalumi, Antonio Calderara, Enrico Castellani, Lucio Fontana, Leoncillo Leonardi, Piero Manzoni, Giorgio Morandi, Giulio Paolini, Angelo Savelli, Salvatore Scarpitta, Giorgio De Chirico, Giacomo Balla, Jannis Kounellis, Alexander Archipenko, Max Ernst and Sol Lewitt, among others.
In addition to a series of successful curatorial exhibitions accompanied by curated art historian catalogue-publications of rarely seen artworks by twentieth-century masters in a variety of mediums, ML Fine Art continually focuses on cultural initiatives and education programs that include numerous publications, video lectures, and OVRs. The gallery is also a platform for high-level art expert research and discussions, such as interviews with Laura Cherubini and Hans Ulrich Obrist on the art of Carla Accardi. Dr. Jürgen Pech composed six essays for the Max Ernst exhibition catalogue and Serge Lemoine, former president of the Musee d’Orsay, wrote the introduction to the Franco Grignani exhibition catalogue.
Furthermore, the gallery also participates in international art fairs such as TEFAF, Masterpiece London, Firenze Masters, and Miart.
