Osborne Samuel Ltd is a partnership between Peter Osborne and Gordon Samuel. The company was formed in 2004 after the merger of Peter Osborne’s company, Berkeley Square Gallery, and the adjacent gallery, Samuel & Co., directed by Gordon Samuel.
The partnership continues the specialties of both businesses, the partners having collaborated on a number of important exhibitions for many years before the merger. The partners have more than 50 years’ experience total. Peter Osborne was the director of the Harlech Fine Art Group and founded Berkeley Square Gallery in 1988, which he acquired in 1994. Gordon Samuel was director at Redfern Gallery and Mercury Gallery before forming Samuel & Co.
