Born January 21st in Rothiemurchus near Inverness. Spent early childhood in India and Burma.
1894
Returned to England and lived with his uncle, Sir Richard Strachey
1904
Attended Westminster School of Art
1906
Moved to Paris, France
1907
Attended La Palette School in Paris
1908
Returned to London and studied at Slade School
1909
Moved to 21 Fitzroy Square
1913
Became a co-director of Roger Fry & Vanessa Bell's short lived "Omega Workshops"
1978
Died in Paul Roche's home
