Founded in 1984 by Tom Hewlett, Portland Gallery is one of London's leading art galleries dealing in Modern British and Contemporary paintings. A particular specialization is the work of the Scottish Colorists, Peploe, Cadell, Hunter, and Fergusson.
We have considerable experience and knowledge of 20th-century British painting, and are happy to advise both individuals and institutions in the acquisition and sale of paintings. We are also interested in purchasing works of art.
Monthly exhibitions by well-known and emerging Contemporary artists are held in our main gallery; works by these and other artists are available to be viewed by appointment.
We also sell limited-edition prints by Portland Gallery artists, including Jack Vettriano.
