Founded in 1963, Gray is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Chicago and New York City.
Devoted to both contemporary and modern art, the gallery specializes in and represents a number of artists, including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Bethany Collins, Jim Dine, Jean Dubuffet, David Hockney, Alex Katz, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Jaume Plensa and Evelyn Statsinger.
The gallery's worldwide activities include participation in international art fairs such as Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, EXPO Chicago and TEFAF New York. Clients include museums such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, NY; the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Art Institute of Chicago; the National Gallery and the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C.; as well as private collectors from all over the world. Gray is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA).
