Founded in 2016 in Boston’s SoWa Art + Design district, a vibrant area filled with industrial warehouse buildings housing artist studios and galleries, YveYANG initially focused on technology-driven art that fundamentally alters our perception and interaction with the contemporary world.
A year later, YveYANG relocated from Boston to New York, and its scope expanded in sync. The transition from the academic-centered environment of Boston to the artistic hub marked the gallery's evolution by featuring a diverse roster of global artists.
Today, YveYANG Gallery calls SoHo’s historic sewing machine factory home, where it continues to introduce both emerging and mid-career artists from around the world for their New York debuts. Much like how new technologies change our lives daily, YveYANG encourages its artists to constantly reconsider established disciplines with the mission of presenting the art of our time.
