Ana Maria Hernando is a contemporary Argentinian-American visual artist who immigrated to the United States in 1986. She makes paintings, drawings and prints with a vibrant palette that layer of natural and formal elements in an affirmation of the life spirit. Hernando’s sculptural practice pairs intimate hand-embroidery elements with large-scale fabric forms in striking counterpoint.
