Carlo Bugatti creates his first known artwork : a bedroom set entirely inlaid with beaten brass and enhanced with floral and Islamic decorations.

1880

Marries Thérèse Lorioli with whom he will have a daughter Deanice and 2 boys Etore and Rembrandt.

1902

Wins the Honour diploma of the Art Decorative International Exhibition in Turin.

1904

He settles in Paris.

1914–1918

Mayor of the city of Pierrefonds, where he lives since 1910.

1932–1939

After the death of successively his daughter, wife and son Rembrandt, the artist slowly diminishes.
